The magical kingdom of Klyrode has been plagued by demons for many years. In order to stand his ground against them, the king has decided to summon not just one but hundreds of heroes from other worlds to protect the land with their special talents. One of them is Banaza, a simple merchant who has little that is heroic about him. When his abilities are scrutinised, it turns out that he doesn’t actually have any useful ones. Thus, he is banished from the castle and has to live in a monster-infested, distant forest.

Seit vielen Jahren wird das magische Königreich Klyrode von Dämonen heimgesucht. Um sich gegen sie zu behaupten, hat der König beschlossen, nicht nur einen, sondern hunderte Helden aus anderen Welten zu beschwören, die mit ihren besonderen Talenten das Land beschützen sollen. Zu ihnen gehört auch Banaza, ein einfacher Händler, der wenig Heldenhaftes an sich hat. Bei der Überprüfung seiner Fähigkeiten stellt sich heraus, dass er tatsächlich keine brauchbaren besitzt, also wird er aus dem Schloss verbannt und muss fortan in einem von Monster verseuchten, weit entfernten Wald leben.
