Tampoco tenía idea de que se convertiría en el protagonista de esta novela transformada en realidad. Ahora Dokja debe embarcarse en un viaje para alterar el curso de la historia y salvar a la humanidad de una vez por todas.

The novel “Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse” (TWSA) took over a decade and a total of 3,149 chapters to publish – and just as long to read. The more chapters were published, the more readers dropped out. After the 100th chapter, there was only one left: Kim Dokja, the last reader who read everything from the beginning to the end. After the final chapter, Dokja receives a message from none other than the author himself. Thanking him, he tells Dokja that the chapters of TWSA would soon be paid content. In addition, he sends Dokja a file containing all the chapters of the novel.

What Dokja did not know at this time: the fictional world of TWSA would shortly become reality. Moreover, Dokja receives a special power: he is the “omniscient reader”, the only one who knows how this story will end. And to save Yoo Joonghyuk, novel’s main character, from regressing again and again, Dokja now decides to return the favour to his hero, who has accompanied him for over ten years and made his life worthwhile. He wants to create his own wonderful happy end!

Über ein Jahrzehnt und insgesamt 3.149 Kapitel hat es gedauert, den Roman »Drei Wege um die Apokalypse zu überleben« (DWAÜ) zu veröffentlichen – und genauso lange, ihn zu lesen. Je mehr Kapitel veröffentlicht wurden, desto mehr Leser sind abgesprungen. Nach dem 100. Kapitel war es nur mehr einer: Einzig Kim Dokja ist als der letzte Leser übrig geblieben und hat von Anfang bis zum Epilog alles gelesen. Nach dem letzten Kapitel bekommt Dokja eine Nachricht von niemand Geringerem als dem Autor selbst: Er bedankt sich und teilt Dokja mit, dass die Kapitel von DWAÜ bald kostenpflichtig werden würden. Zudem sendet er Dokja eine Datei, die alle Kapitel von dem Roman enthält.

Was Dokja zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht wusste, ist, dass sich die fiktive Welt von DWAÜ bald in die Realität verwandeln würde. Dokja bekommt zudem eine besondere Kraft: Er ist der »allwissende Leser«, der als Einziger weiß, wie diese Geschichte zu Ende gehen wird. Und um Yoo Joonghyuk, den Hauptcharakter des Romans, davor zu bewahren, immer und immer wieder von vorne starten zu müssen, entscheiden Dokja sich nun, sich bei seinem Helden, der ihn über zehn Jahre lang begleitet hat, zu revanchieren. Er möchte seinen eigenen, wundervollen und glücklichen Epilog erschaffen!
